2002 Ford Ranger Stepside XLT, 5 speed manual, cold ac, new brakes, new clutch, completely rebuilt front end, Bluetooth compatible stereo, 260,586 miles, gets around 24 miles to the gallon, cloth interior. Small tear on drivers side seat. Everyday driver so mileage may go up. Questions welcomed.

This vehicle was purchased used by the Champaign County Forest Preserve District and was assigned to the Lake of the Woods Operation Department. Front tires have approximately 50% thread remaining and the rear tires have approximately 50% tread remaining. Vehicle has significant undercarriage corrosion from exposure to winter conditions. The exterior is in fair condition with minor light scratches and blemished present. The interior is in fair condition. Performed regular maintenance service on the 2001 Ford Ranger and the last service were done at 101,540 miles. Other maintenance to the vehicle was January 27, 2010 this vehicle was purchased used from Velde Lincoln-Mercury-Volvo of Peoria Illinois with 46,254 miles. Preformed regular maintenance service on the 2001 Ford Ranger. March 8, 2010 at 47,612 installed backup alarm. April 14, 2010 replaced front brake pads and rotors. July 9, 2010 at 54,187 miles replaced a 48 inch transmission line. December 21, 2010 at 55,981 miles replaced both rear shocks, rear leaf spring shackles, leaf spring brackets, and a class 3 trailer hitch. January 5, 2012 at 66,404 miles serviced transmission filter and oil. March 20, 2012 at 68,074 replaced front brake pads. April 27, 2012 at 69,045 miles replaced rear brake drum spring kit, rear brake drum shoes and lining kit, rear brake drum cable, and two adjuster kits. October 23, 2012 at 73,808 miles replaced muffler, intermediate pipe, exhaust gasket, exhaust spring kit, and tail pipe. November 9, 2012 at 75,500 miles replaced rear self-adjusting brake kit. January 10, 2013 at 76,143 miles replaced both rear shocks. March 12, 2013 at 77,533 miles replaced both wheel cylinders, and left door lock kit. April 11, 2013 at 78,403 replaced two sway bar links. April 23, 2013 at 78,499 miles replaced both control arms. July 15, 2013 at 81,189 miles replaced lower radiator hose. September 26, 2014 at 91,687 miles replaced battery. August 18, 2015 at 99,278 miles check MAT sensor and found it was dirty. Cleaned it off and reinstalled it. August 19, 2015 at 99,300 miles replaced right ball joint, and the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF). August 31, 2015 at 99,400 miles has the front end aligned. January 26, 2016 at 100,192 miles replaced transmission filter and oil. February 17, 2016 at 100,252 miles replaced intake gaskets, injector seals, fuel rail O-rings, and pcv elbow. June 17, 2016 at 100,832 miles replaced side marker bulb. December 21, 2016 at 101,137 miles replaced battery. May 19, 2017 at 101,300 miles replaced muffler, gasket, gasket spring kit, tail pipe, and intermediate pipe. The vehicle can be viewed between 8am to 3pm, Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays at Lake of the Woods Operation Department, 650 North Lombard Street, Mahomet, Illinois 61853. From Champaign Illinois the location is 10 mile west on I74. The exit number is 172 and at the stop light turns right or north on route 47 or Lombard Street. Go approximately ¼ mile and turn right at 650 Lombard Street. You will go the yellow building, south end. The Champaign County Forest Preserve District is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process. We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades. The high bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from Mahomet, Illinois. High bidder is responsible to deal with Transportation Company and the cost.
